Apple Store Closed Today in Advance of WWDC: New Macs and More Are Anticipated

In advance of today's WWDC presentation at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple's online shop is currently unavailable. Apple is anticipated to reveal a 15-inch MacBook Air in addition as a sneak peek at its rumored AR/VR headset and perhaps new Mac Studio models.

Apple regularly shuts down its online store before releasing new gear, which heightens interest. Given that Morgan Stanley, an investment agency, recently projected that Apple's headset is still months away from going into mass production and being released, the shop closing in this case is probably mostly related to new Macs.

The revised Mac Studio models are expected to be offered with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips, while the upcoming 15-inch MacBook Air is speculated to have the M2 chip.

For the second year in a row, Apple's online store has declined before WWDC. In the previous keynote, the 13-inch MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro models with the then-new M2 chip were announced.
